The Project
This garden began as a hand-drawn concept inspired by Feng Shui principles, transformed into a fully built landscape designed to feel balanced, calming and harmonious. The design uses flowing circular forms rather than straight lines — in Feng Shui, circles represent unity and the smooth movement of energy. A large circular patio forms the heart of the garden, with a central Japanese maple, clipped evergreen spheres and decorative stone for stability and balance. Curved beds soften the hard landscaping, sweeping lavender brings rhythm and fragrance, and a bespoke handmade pergola and summer house create a destination point. A demonstration of how a simple concept sketch can be faithfully transformed into a timeless, completed garden.

She came up with an ingenious design involving three overlapping circles — raised flower beds, patio, artificial lawn, pergola and summerhouse.
